The Internet Connection

The 1929 classic, “Man with a movie camera” is a avant-garde, with no actors and no storyline. The footages for this movie were shot in four different cities and were then edited to bring out the theme.
We can relate many ideas conveyed in this movie to the internet we use today.
The scenes appear to be random, but there is always a link between two scenes. This is quite similar to the way websites are there on the internet. They are not independent, there is a link between them called hyperlinks. This movie shows a cinematic representation of hyperlinks.

Often when we are browsing the web, a single page might not tell you much of what you were reading about. The context is set by the history of sites that has been visited. Similarly, in this movie also scenes are arranged in a way that when seen with the preceding and succeeding the scene adds more sense to it.

This movie is made with no actors. So, when you see the movie your realise that each one of the person is equally important or equally unimportant. This is very similar to what you feel on the Internet. Whether it is the head of a state or just another person living down the lane, they have equal and is heard all over the world.

Illusion and Reality

What is seen is not the Truth
What is cannot be said
Trust comes not without seeing
Nor understanding without words
The wise comprehends with knowledge
To the ignorant it is but a wonder
Some worship the formless God
Some worship His various forms
In what way He is beyond these attributes
Only the Knower knows
That music cannot be written

How can then be the notes
